Fracture Repair at the Speed of Light
A minimally invasive, custom-conforming intramedullary implant designed to support stable fracture repair.
What Is IlluminOss?
IlluminOss is a minimally invasive custom-conforming intramedullary balloon implant designed to support fracture repair.
Using a standard syringe, the light-activated monomer is infused into the balloon, allowing it to expand, fill, and conform to the patient’s intramedullary canal. Once exposed to visible light, the monomer begins to cure.
Once cured, the implant can be drilled through and augmented with ancillary hardware when needed.
